Likes: Anything retro, loud music, bourbon, phat bottomed girls, taking the piss and vmx of course!

Dislikes: Cigarettes, lying for the sake of it and tiling swimming pools!

I started riding at 12 in 1979 and started racing at age 13.  I came fourth in the Queensland minibike titles at age 14.  I got my  first Honda at 15 (juniors) and won a Queensland title  in 1982 and came 7th in Australia . I only raced Hondas from then on.

I was an A grade rider at 16 and came 3rd in Queensland on a 500 in the unlimited class. I  pulled the pin at the end of 1987 . I discovered bikes again in 1999 and  found VMX in 2006. I won a Aussie Classic Motocross title in 2007 riding my Honda CR250M in the 40-49 years age group. I also came second on my CR125M and third in the Pre '78 Class on a Suzuki RM370.

Here are some of my bikes:

CR125M ; CR250M; CR125M3; CR125RZ; CR125RA; CR125RD; CR250M2 Mugen kitted; CR360 Mugen; CR450RB; CR480RC; CR480RD; CR500RE; CR500RF. Plus a few Maico's and others.

Age: 47
Bikes: CR250RD, CR450RB, CR250RZ, CR360RZ, XR75.
Likes: Beer, bullshit and bikes (red ones).
Dislikes: Dumb rules and dumb riders (and Yamaha riders).

I started racing in 1976 on a CR125M, then in 1977 bought a new YZ125D (sorry). Then it was all red over the next few years riding CR250R, RC and RD. CR125RA and RB as well as a CR450RB.

In ’84 I got a sponsorship with the local Suzuki dealership and that was the beginning of the end. Mid year after having some pretty crappy results I crashed and broke my leg and knee. That was it, all over. Over the next 15 years or so I did the marriage and family thing, mixed with a bit of road racing and trail riding until 2000 when I got the urge again.

I bought a basket case 1978 CR250R and that was it, an obsession had taken over. The last few years has been taken up racing Evo and Pre ’85 on my ’78 CR250 and 1983 CR250RD. Both have been brilliant bikes with a few good results over the years.

The bikes I’ve now got are as follows; CR250R, CR250RD, CR250M1, MT250, CR125RE, CR450RB, CR500RF, XR75K1 and a CR250RK.

The aim for this year is to pick and choose what meetings to do, rather than do heaps of club days and chase Championships, the aim is to pick the best of all the VMX events all over the East Coast and do those. With the support of Moto Wreck - Yandina, it should be a great year. Classic Dirt, here we come!
