The Red Devil Racing boys made their first outing at Moto Mayhem on 24th February in what is likely to be the last ever Oran Park Motocross event.

The Team

We had five of the boys on hand with Brad "Sir Bradalot" Vanbarello (CR125RA) coming down from Queensland for his RDR debut, Mark "Birko" Birkett coming up from the Snowy Mountains (CR250RE), Bruce "Magoo" McFarland (CR480RD) making the long 5 minute trip, Damo Crane (CR500RF) and our old mate Darran Milton (CR125RC) coming for a run up for the event.

On a hot and dusty day the boys put on a good showing with Brad winning the Pre 90 class pointscore and Magoo second, Birko ran second in the Pre 78 class and Damo won the Pre 90 feature race on Brads fire breathing 1985 CR500RF - one evil mother if there ever was one.

All in all it was a really good event with the Vintage bikes running alongside the moderns on the same programme, with a good crowd on hand to watch the action. If only we could have had a bit of rain to dampen the dust.
